Showing envi­ron­men­tal friend­li­ness! The vil­la­ge sign alrea­dy says “Bio­en­er­gy Vil­la­ge”. District Admi­nis­tra­tor Dr. Klaus Gün­ther Die­tel prai­sed the gre­at com­mit­ment of the two ope­ra­tors Harald Bau­mann and Mar­kus Bau­er and the gre­at fle­xi­bi­li­ty of the inha­bi­tants of the vil­la­ge of Gut­tent­hau, who have the cou­ra­ge to break new ground tog­e­ther, when he pre­sen­ted the award in 2008.

The heat gene­ra­ted by the pro­cess sup­plies 32 house­holds and the vil­la­ge fire sta­ti­on. Infor­ma­ti­on at: www.speichersdorf.de The bio­gas plant has been run­ning at full capa­ci­ty sin­ce May 2006. In July 2007, it was expan­ded from the ori­gi­nal 330 kW to 635 kW.
