Biogas plant Gräfing
- NatUrgas® fermenter with 2,430 m³ gross volume
Inputs: cattle slurry, maize and grass silage with a dry matter content of 28 to 40 %.
Raw gas production
The biogas produced in the biogas plant is fed via a micro gas pipeline to several CHP units installed in the city of Grafing, where it is used to generate electricity and heat. A gas compressor station is installed at the biogas plant to ensure the necessary pre-pressure for the transport. If the biogas engines fail or if the biogas cannot be taken off, the biogas is burnt harmlessly in a biogas emergency flare on the premises of the biogas plant.
