Leading by example: regional heat transition in Weißenburg, Bavaria

The historic Roman town of Weißenburg is looking resolutely to the future. We will support Stadtwerke Weißenburg in developing a concept for the future that deals with the economically viable conversion from fossil fuels to renewable energies.

Municipal heat planning mandatory from 2024

We support you and work with you to plan the heat transition in your municipality towards a climate-neutral heat supply. Up to 90 % funding is still available until the end of 2023, so it’s worth applying for funding this year.

Due to RED II, it is also worthwhile for small biogas plants to invest in fuel production and thus ensure continued operation.

Award of contract for gas storage at Kaditz wastewater treatment plant

The wastewater treatment plant with a rated capacity of 787,000 p.e. will be expanded to include a gas storage tank. The gas is used in the plant’s own CHP unit.
