Heat utilisation
The biogas upgrading plant is supplied with heat from the CHP unit. The secondary fermentation tank is heated by the waste heat from the amine scrubbing. The nearby farms are in turn connected to the CHP waste heat via a local heating pipeline. Surplus heat can still be used for drying wood chips.
